Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on non-working days in the country from March 30 to April 3 with the preservation of wages. The corresponding document has been published on the Kremlin’s website.

“In order to ensure the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population in the Russian Federation, to establish non-working days from March 30 to April 3, 2020, with wages preserved,” the document says.

The decree does not apply to employees of medical and pharmacy organizations, as well as organizations operating continuously. Organizations providing the population with foodstuffs and essential goods; the ones performing emergency work in emergency situations, carrying out emergency repair and loading and unloading operations will continue the work.
