Japanese JBIC Bank is ready to invest in republican projects
Yakutia took part in the East Economic Forum in Vladivostok. During the forum days, the republic signed 45 agreements.
The Japanese JBIC bank will help complete the project on the year-round greenhouse Sayuri complex and the reconstruction of the international terminal of the Yakutsk airport.
Mr. Maeda, JBIC Bank Executive Director, said that in June JBIC opened a credit line of 15 billion yen at Vnesheconombank, which will mainly be focused on Far Eastern projects.
For example, the Sayuri project will be financed at 5%, which is two times lower than loans in Russia. And with regard to the reconstruction of the international terminal of the Yakutsk airport, work will be carried out to consider companies that could take part in this project. To do this, they plan to use the platform to support Japanese investment.
- I am sure that when drawing up the correct economic model, this project can be implemented in Yakutia in the near future. I will also give instructions on the search for new projects in which JBIC could take part, - said Aisen Nikolaev.
In addition, Aisen Nikolaev announced that cooperation in the field of medicine between Russia and Japan is intensifying. In the republic, it is planned to create enterprises for the production of biologically active additives and medicines based on plants of Yakutia, biomaterials of wild reindeer and the Yakut horse.
