During the fair, the largest employer in Yakutia presented 320 vacancies. They were provided with all the information, given consultations, they were interviewed as well.

The work of the fair took place in several areas: a job fair with the participation of relevant subdivisions of the Company, an exhibition of training courses, information on the availability of jobs in ALROSA for human settlements, consultations on assistance in finding suitable work.

On January 30, 2018, ALROSA and the State Committee of the RS (Y) on employment of the population signed an Agreement on mutual cooperation for the implementation of the priority project of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic "Local Personnel in Industry" in 2018-2022.

Within the framework of the Agreement, various employment measures are organized and carried out from among unemployed citizens of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), including those from rural areas.

In 2018, 950 people were recruited from the local labor resources of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), including: 418 people on a rotational basis and for seasonal work, 332 people from rural areas, 259 young specialists under 30 years old.

On the basis of the Training Center of the company and the Mirny Regional Technical College, more than 110 people received vocational training and additional vocational education.

Under the Agreement, at the expense of the state budget of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) allocated for the implementation of the project “Local Personnel in Industry” together with the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) with the financial participation of ALROSA, more than 3 million rubles were spent on vocational training and additional education of citizens.

Starting from 2018, the Company has been conducting comprehensive career guidance work aimed at attracting local personnel. There is a joint activity on vocational guidance of students in conjunction with the district education department, Technopark, the Polytechnic Lyceum of Mirny, the Center for Additional Education of Children.

In order to reduce the adaptation period of local personnel and their smooth integration into production processes, in 2018 the Company launched a mentoring project aimed at systematizing work in this area, including the training of mentors.
