Rosgeologia and ALROSA have concluded a cooperation agreement. The document was signed today on the margins of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum by the General Director - Chairman of the Management Board of PJSC ALROSA Sergey Ivanov and the General Director - Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Rosgeologia Sergey Gorkov.
The parties agreed on interaction and coordination of activities aimes at strengthening and developing mutually beneficial relations in the implementation of current and prospective exploration projects, including in the geological study of the depth of diamonds.
The partners intend to create a joint collegial body - the Geological and Technical Council of JSC Rosgeologia and PJSC ALROSA.
“The goal of our cooperation will be the identification of new primary and placer diamond deposits,” noted Sergey Gorkov. “At the first stage, we will conduct a comprehensive expert assessment of the most promising proposals in the field of geological study of the subsoil, form proposals for geological exploration programs. We are also discussing the prospects for cooperation in introducing innovative methods of exploration and search.”
“Today’s signing is especially important for us as a mining company - the cooperation of ALROSA and Rosgeologia will be aimed at improving exploration, the formation of joint expert opinions on certain projects, as well as medium and long-term planning in this area. I am sure that our joint work will allow us to bring geological exploration to a new level,” said Sergey Ivanov.
